Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American comedian and actress, is also known as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. After moving to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her career began as an actor for children. She came to prominence for her appearances on AT&T commercials on television as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and , since then, until the year 2020. She also was a regular series regular on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also had the role of a regular character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after being cast in the unaired television pilot New Warriors. Vayntrub is was a Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. At two years of age her parents and she relocated to the U.S. as refugees to avoid antisemitism and settled in West Hollywood. Her family's financial difficulties caused her to be a part of Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School, but dropped out following her sophomore year. She earned a GED and then went to complete an Associate of Arts in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
