  Jacques Bermon Webster II, born on April 30, 1991, is better known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott), an American artist, singer, and songwriter. The stage name he uses is a tribute to the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the name of one of his idols, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label deal with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013 the singer-songwriter signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I.  T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. The mixtape was followed by the release of a second mixtape called Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. The album that he released as his debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was led by the hit single "Antidote". His second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) achieved the first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott dropped Birds in the Trap Sing McCKnight (2016) alongside Quavo under the name of Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. The album produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. In late 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys that topped the Billboard 200. His track, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. in 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs debut at number one in less than a year.
