On June 22 the 22nd of June, 1985, she won the contest. Mohr was then invited in September of 1985 to compete for Georgia in Miss America 1986, a pageant that was hosted at Atlantic City, New Jersey. But, she wasn't one of the Top-10 finalists in the race for the Miss America title.
