From a young age, she started to pursue her interest in acting by taking up dance and musical theater. Her high school graduation was earlier than expected and studied at the Vancouver Film School where she earned her acting essentials certificate. After she completed the program and auditioned, she attended an open audition and got signed. She was a student at her school, the Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver.
