Born on 25 November 1968, Jillian Noel Hennessy is active Canadian performer and actress who has been praised for her significant contribution for American television. Her work has received praise for her stellar performances in the American television show Law & Order in which she played Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons. She also appeared on Crossing Jordan, wherein she was Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six seasons. Hennessy also showed off her talents in films like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. In addition, she produced and wrote these movies. Hennessy launched her career as an actor in Dead Ringers with her sister. In 1990, she made an appearance as a guest on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. She then moved into sci-fi and played Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. Her big break occurred later that year when she was a part of the cast of the hit NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. Her three-season stint in the part was an instant hit with viewers. In 1996, she left the show.
